Result of the partner selection for research and experimentation activities on vehicle integrated photovoltaic technology (VIPV)

The analysis of the proposals received regarding the collaboration on the VIPV technology in order to test the MPPT RSE algorithm under operating conditions in a dc/dc converter for an electric vehicle, has been concluded.  more

RSE joins IRENA to promote good practices in the adoption and development of long-term model-based energy scenarios.

RSE (-with Maria Gaeta, leader of Scenario and System Analysis group), is working, alongside the parent company GSE, as the national focal point of IRENA's Long-Term Energy Scenario Network (LTES Network). RSE will act as the technical institution supporting Italian Government in official scenarios development and government planning.  more

RSE is looking for partners for a research and testing activity on Vehicle Integrated PhotoVoltaics

As indicated in the paper by ETIP PV (European Technology & Innovation Platform, PhotoVoltaic) entitled "Vehicle-integrated Photovoltaics VIPV as core source for electricity in road transport, 2020", the VIPV technology, in order to maximize the transfer of energy from the photovoltaic system to the battery, requires the development of efficient and fast MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) algorithms in relation to the dynamics of solar irradiance and partial shading.  more
